Help Healthy Heads Shape a Thriving Transport and Logistics Industry
Our industry first Transport and Logistics survey is now live, and your voice matters. We’re counting on you to help shape the conversation
Australia’s transport and logistics workforce keeps the country moving every day. Yet behind this essential work are increasing pressures that can impact mental health and wellbeing. Data from SuperFriend’s Thriving Workplace Index (TWI) consistently shows the sector ranking among the lowest industries in Australia for overall wellbeing. Staff report demanding workloads, unclear role expectations, high exposure to traumatic events, and limited management support.
For the first time, an industry-specific TWI survey has been launched exclusively for transport and logistics. This is a critical opportunity to capture real experiences from people on the road, in the sheds and in leadership roles, ensuring future programs, investment and support truly reflect workforce needs.
The survey will:
- Provide insight into how psychosocial risk factors are affecting employee mental health, wellbeing and performance
- Identify high-risk areas by measuring key psychosocial hazards
- Help us evaluate the impact of Healthy Heads’ work across the industry
- Inform future strategy, priorities and resource development
The TWI will give Healthy Heads a clearer picture of the current state of the industry, enabling us to develop targeted actions that address workplace factors influencing mental health. It will also ensure our approach remains focused on creating safer, healthier work environments in line with work, health, and safety expectations.
The survey is now open. We encourage you to complete it and share it with colleagues, teams, and industry networks. A ready-to-use marketing kit is also available to help spread the word.
Every response strengthens the data, and every voice helps build a safer, more connected industry. Full media release: https://healthyheads.kingsdigital.dev/news-and-media/new-industry-survey-calls-on-people-working-across-transport-postal-and-warehousing-to-have-their-say-on-mental-health/
