With less than one month to go, the R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds Day of Action is once again set to bring the transport, warehousing and logistics industries together, championing mental health and encouraging meaningful conversations across every workplace.
The message is clear: “Ask R U OK? Any Day.” Checking in with a colleague, mate, or team member shouldn’t be limited to a single date. A genuine conversation, whether in the depot, on the road, in the shed, or in the office, can make a real difference.
To highlight the power of these conversations, industry voices Bruce, Sally-ann and Phil have shared their lived experiences. From navigating depression and PTSD to coping with the loss of a loved one to suicide, their stories show how speaking up and reaching out can change lives. Each of them now advocates for building a culture where people feel safe to ask, listen, and support one another.
These stories are a reminder that creating mentally healthy workplaces starts with everyday actions and open dialogue.
