Healthy Heads Thrive Pilot
Practical psychosocial risk management for transport, warehousing and logistics, in collaboration with AP Psychology & Consulting Services and Gallagher Bassett.
The Healthy Heads Thrive Pilot is a sector-led initiative helping transport, warehousing and logistics businesses better identify, assess and manage psychosocial risks in the workplace.
Ten organisations will take part in a pilot of a digitally enabled, end-to-end psychosocial risk management system named TM Thrive, designed specifically for the realities of the industry.
This is about moving from awareness to action and supporting businesses to address risks early, before they escalate into psychological injury.

What is TM Thrive?
TM Thrive is a complete psychosocial risk management platform that helps organisations identify, assess and act on workplace mental health risks, all in one place.
It combines workforce risk assessments, real-time insights and practical action planning with targeted learning, giving organisations the tools to manage risk, build capability and create safer, healthier workplaces at scale.
Built with enterprise-grade security aligned to ISO/IEC 27001, TM Thrive delivers a trusted, industry-relevant solution, supporting sectors like transport and logistics to take a proactive, evidence-based approach to psychosocial safety.
Background
The Healthy Heads Thrive Pilot builds on the Healthy Heads Roadmap Planner, first released in 2024 to support better understanding of psychological health and safety across the transport, warehousing and logistics sector.
The Roadmap Planner assists businesses to establish a Workplace Wellbeing Plan, helping them meet their work health and safety (WHS) duty of care in a practical and structured way.
The Planner is built on the Seven Workplace Strategies outlined in the National Mental Health & Wellbeing Roadmap. By implementing these strategies, organisations can develop their own tailored plan to better protect and support employees, while strengthening psychosocial safety across the workplace. The Healthy Heads Thrive pilot takes this tool from being a web-based resource to a full end to end psychosocial risk management platform.

Why this matters
In transport and logistics, many of the pressures affecting mental health, long hours, time pressure, isolation, and high operational demand have become normalised.
But normal doesn’t mean safe.
Psychological health is now a core workplace safety responsibility, not an optional extra.
Mental health is a key driver of both performance and safety outcomes. Psychological health and safety should be embedded as fundamental elements of every workplace safety management system, not treated as separate or secondary considerations.
This is what Healthy Heads Thrive offers— a practical, industry-designed way to embed psychosocial risk management into everyday operations.
What the Thrive Pilot delivers
The pilot provides a practical system to help organisations:
- Identify psychosocial hazards in real operational settings
- Assess and prioritise psychosocial risks
- Implement clear, practical control measures
- Strengthen compliance with psychosocial risk obligations
- Embed psychosocial safety into everyday work practices

Designed for the industry, by the industry
The insights, feedback and learnings from this pilot will directly shape and refine the Healthy Heads Thrive system, ensuring it is aligned to the real needs and operational context of the transport, warehousing and logistics industry.
This process will inform a practical, scalable solution that will be made available to the broader industry through a subscription model.
