Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds and bp team up to serve big discounts on healthy meals

Truck drivers across Australia can now access even greater discounts on the Healthier Choices Menu, thanks to a new initiative from not-for-profit foundation Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (Healthy Heads), supported by bp as part of an ongoing partnership established in 2022.

That same year, the Healthier Choices Menu was launched to provide truck drivers with discounted, nutritious, and convenient meal options that are easily accessible while on the road. Developed with guidance from the National Nutrition Foundation, the Menu is now available at 32 participating bp truck stop sites across the country.

Since the Menu’s launch, over 60,000 meals have been sold, highlighting a strong demand for better nutrition within the transport and logistics sector. Now, in the lead-up to the busy end-of-year season, bp has increased discounts on the Menu to make these healthier options even more accessible and affordable for our drivers.

From 1 October to 31 December 2025, truck drivers and other road users/transport industry members can receive up to $15 off selected hot meals and $5 off healthier snack options, including wraps and other wholesome, better-for-you choices.

To access the discounts, customers simply need to show the Healthy Heads App to bp staff when purchasing from the Healthier Choices Menu at a participating site. The App is free to download; just search ‘Healthy Heads’ on the App Store or Google Play.

Healthy Heads CEO Naomi Frauenfelder said the discounted pricing is a timely and practical extension of the nutrition program between Healthy Heads and bp.

“Over the past three years, we’ve worked closely with bp to ensure that healthier options are readily available for those who spend their working days on the road,” she said.

“These new discounts are all about increasing both visibility and affordability, particularly at a time of year when drivers can face immense stress and pressure to meet their deadlines.”

bp Vice President, Customer, Lisa Archbold said the Healthier Choices Menu was an important part of bp’s truck stop offering.

“Being on the road and away from home, we want to make sure truck drivers always have a comfortable place to rest, recharge and eat a healthy meal. The Healthier Choices Menu means drivers can rely on bp, knowing they can stop by and choose a meal that’s nutritious, tasty and affordable.”

Another benefit of the Healthier Choices Menu is that it features freshly prepared meals rated ‘green’ under the Victorian Government’s Healthy Choices: Food and Drink Classification Guide, meaning they meet strict nutritional standards without compromising on taste.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment by Healthy Heads and bp to support the health and wellbeing of truck drivers and supply chain staff, an industry critical to Australia’s economy.
